" Your real beauty is a work of art-hand-carved by me. I have given you beautiful lips to speak words of life, beautiful eyes to see me in everything, beautiful hands to help those in need and a beautiful face to reflect my love to the world. I know you don't see yourself the way I do because you compare yourself to beauty idols that will soon be forgotten. I will work wonders that will radiate true beauty from within". - God

This beautiful Paragraph above was written by Rosy Shepard

The world is constantly telling us to be more, do more, look better, be better, live better as if what we are isn't enough and our purpose in life becomes to find worthiness when God has already called us worthy. Sometimes we need to be reminded that we are capable of doing more, but not be measured against what we do or who we are to be called worthy. Worthiness cannot be earned, it needs to be glimpsed from within you. Sometimes when we feel we aren't good enough, we begin to find ways to make it up and please others but we don't owe anyone anything. It is not our job to show others that we are worthy to be known, loved and cared for. Many times we go to our relationships first trying to get others to tell us how much we are worth. The problem with that is that we are all a little broken inside so you will never get a true reflection of who you are from someone else because that reflection will be broken too. Look to God who created you and he will tell you how much you are worth and just in case you don't know, you were worth dying for...

Just like in the necklace below you have been intentionally knit together in your mothers womb, you already matter by just living because God created you. Every piece of the necklace is important because it makes the finish product beautiful. Everything God has given you is what makes you beautiful and no one can compare to that. They can try and imitate this necklace but it will never be the same again. Your life isn't going to look like someone else's life because God has something unique just for you. Stop longing for what others have and be content with what you have because it all serves a purpose. Stop comparing where you are, what you have, what you look like vs other people and begin to love and embrace everything about you. There are things we see in others that took hard work to achieve and we want them immediately but we don't know the process they went through and many times we don't want to go to the process either, we just want the beautiful finished product.

Being perfect, having a successful career or having a lot of things doesn't make you worthy. In the bible God sent Samuel to look for a king and he saw Jesse who was tall and handsome, and surely he thought that was the one God wanted as king.

1 Samuel 16:7 " But the Lord said, pay no attention to how tall and handsome he is. I have rejected him, because i do not judge as people judge. They look at outward appearance, but i look at the heart".

God doesn't look at how many friends, followers or likes you have, he looks at your heart, he looks at your faith and obedience. Where God wants to take you depends on you and who you are not on how others look at you or where you are or what you have. He looks at your potential not at what you've done. Steven furtick once said in his preaching " If you let others measure you up differently than how God sees you, you are losing the essence of who you are". Just because you don't look like what others say is beautiful or perfect doesn't mean you aren't. You are beautifully perfect in your own way.

Proverbs 11:1 " The Lord detests dishonest scales, but delights in an accurate weight".

Don't look to the right or left, or at what you have and they don't because you are not meant to have what others have. They may have what you want but you have what they need and that is JESUS. and if you say but i have Jesus and you still compare your life to the life of others, then you need to spend more time in the presence of God until you are grateful and happy in the place God has you in.
