“And when I wake up you are still with me” Psalms 139:18.
God longs to hear from us at all times, he never leaves us; he is always present, waiting for us to make time for him. Starting our day thanking God, praying and worshiping makes a big difference. It means we are going to God, laying down our burdens and being filled with peace, love, and joy. He is ready to release so many blessings over our life but we have to seek him! Many, including myself, struggle to make time for God in the mornings because we want to catch up on sleep and by the time we are up we are ready to just run out the door. We become more concerned about looking good outside than inside. Then we get so caught up in everything else that needs our attention, we forget about God.
God confronted me one day and said “If only you spent as much time you do getting ready, reading the word and spending time with me you would be in a greater level”.
We can dress beautifully every morning but feel so empty inside, have no joy, no purpose or simply feel indifferent. However, when we decide to spend time with him before we get ready and praise him despite what we are feeling, that’s when true joy comes and we shine brighter and more beautiful than any piece of clothing or makeup can make us look. Intimacy with God is the most important thing and everyone has their own time for intimacy, usually early mornings are best because there are no distractions, but if there comes a day we just couldn’t have hours of intimacy with God we still have to go throughout our day speaking to God and seeking his presence.
I know it’s easy to forget because it may have not became your lifestyle yet or there are just so many things in your agenda but the same way we get dressed every morning because it’s a need, we should feel the need to pray. The same way we can’t leave the house without brushing our teeth or putting perfume on we should feel about spending time with God. Even if we aren't a morning person, we should be excited about spending time with the person who loves us and wants to pour out their love on us, share secrets with us, and longs to be with us. It is difficult, believe me, i have struggled but it is more than possible and i have been able to see the blessing and the transformation in my life when i decide to forget about how i feel and just wake up and spend time with Him.
Spending hours in his presence is important but it doesn't stop there. When you are a worshiper in spirit and truth you pray and worship at all times in everything you do. For us girls, as we get ready in the morning and focus on our appearance we need to dress and look like the woman of God he has destined us to be. We need to look like it, talk like it, and walk like it. As you put on your makeup or clothes thank God for how He made you and ask him to help you see the beauty within yourself and others. To help you realize that the beauty we have doesn’t come from what we wear or how we look but rather because we reflect the glow and love of God. Below you will see how you can turn your beauty routine, the area where most girls spend hours in, worshiping our creator. The same way we can turn our makeup routine into worship and prayer we can do for every other thing on our agenda. Your worship shouldn't stop. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 "rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Moisturizer, foundation, powder, primer

As you place foundation on your skin or whichever product you place first on your face, pray to God that the same way you start a foundation in your makeup routine in order for the makeup to last, the same way you want to build a relationship with him. You want something that can't be shaken up so easily, that as you get to know him deeper that the foundation may only become stronger and unbreakable. That as you cover your face, that you may become less of you and more of him so that he may be exalted. 1 Corinthians 3:11 "For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ".
Eyeshadow, Eyeliner & Mascara

When you are doing your eyes, pray that God may protect your eyesight from things that you shouldn’t be seeing but also to open up your spiritual eyes so that you are able to see what is happening in the spiritual world. Pray that God’s vision may become your vision and that you are able to fix your eyes on him no matter the situation you are in. Ask him to allow you to see the hidden blessings in every trial. Lastly, that your eyes may reflect the love of God, the humbleness and joy you carry within your soul. Matthew 6:22 states “the eyes are the lamp of the body”, so make sure you are guarding your eyes.
3) Highlighter

When Moses came down from meeting God on the mountain, his face radiated the glory of God so brightly that the Israelites asked him to cover up his face. We spend so much money on the best highlighters when we can radiate even brighter for free by spending time with God. This isn't even something you have to pray about, just spending time with God will have you glowing like never before.
4) Lips

As you put on lipstick, pray that the words that come out of your mouth are words of life and not death. That you are able to encourage someone throughout the day. That the words you speak are no longer your words but what God wants his people to know. There is power in what you say and declare so make sure you use the weapon, which is your mouth, wisely. What's in your heart comes out your mouth and what comes out your mouth goes into your heart. If you insist on saying what you feel, you will feel what you said. If you don't like how you feel, you need to change what you are saying.. If you struggle with gossip ask him to tame your mouth and your thoughts. Choose your words wisely and always open your mouth to worship Him in everything. Proverbs 21:23 "Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut, and you will stay out of trouble".
Finally

John 15:17 " These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full"
